It got into the 70s, the sun was shining and we all woke up pretty early. We started the day out by going to Denny’s for breakfast and then decided to take advantage of the warm weather and low rates at the Indy Zoo for Vavia’s first there! We had a great time with her. She really enjoyed all of the exhibits with water the most. Her favorites were definitely the Ocean exhibit where she got to see a real life “Nemo”, jelly fish and the adorable penguins. She also loved the new Shark exhibit, where you could actually pet a shark. We tried, but it never got close enough to us. We also tried to watch the dolphin show. At first it was good and we got splashed, but Vavia wanted to keep running up to the glass, so we had to leave.

After a long day at the zoo, we came home and Vavia took a nap. She wouldn’t sleep in her bed so after an hour or so, Rich convinced her to sleep on her beanbag in her tent. She slept really well there for a while and woke up in a great mood.

The greatest part of the day was this evening when I went into her bedroom after we had put her to sleep. I went in to put her new humidifier in there and noticed she wasn’t in her bed. So where was she? Yep, her tent, sound asleep. In fact I can still hear her snoring in there! See the photo!
