Everyone knows I travel quite a bit with my company, but I always feel pretty good, because I know Vavia is with her daddy and is having the time of her life. Probably “breaking” all of mommy’s rules while I am away
Don’t get me wrong, I always miss her, terribly, but I never worry.
This morning, I did something difficult. I put her in my sister’s truck for a two night trip away from both mommy and daddy. It was really hard. I love my sister and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter (well possibly mom & dad, hehe), but seriously, I know Vavia loves her and that Shazia will take good care of her. But it’s still a tough thing to do. She’s my baby girl.
Richard is on a plane right now to Vegas and I will be on a plane soon enough. I am going out there for business and he is tagging along for fun. I think it is a much needed vacation for him, but I am sure he will be worried about Vavia the whole time. We will be staying at the awesome Venetian on the strip. Richard comes home Tuesday night and I will be home very late on Wednesday night.
Hopefully Shazia sends us pics and updates frequently and we are able to enjoy some time together while we are out there. I also hope Vavia has a blast and treats her Masi well!
