Happy Anniversary

This date two years ago, Richard and I became husband and wife. I have to admit, marriage isn’t always easy. Two people can never be perfect for each other. That’s just a dream world. The key to making your marriage work is accepting the fact that regardless of how much you have in common, you two will always be different people, with different habits that annoy one another. Seriously, if you can accept these differences, that is what will make a marriage last a lifetime…at least that is how I feel.

Richard and I have so much in common that its scary. But at the same time we both have our things that make us individuals. We also both have quirks that drive the other crazy. But we love each other and we realize that marriage is a commitment and one that for us will never end. Marriage should continue to challenge you. If it doesn’t, I would think it becomes somewhat stale.

Two years ago today, I became the happiest girl on the planet. The only day that could ever possibly top that was the day our true love was manifested in the birth of our daughter. A miracle indeed and proof to us both what unconditional love truly is.

Richard, I love you this day and always. You are my best friend and my true soulmate. Thank you for everything you do (especially when I am sick!) and for everything you put up with. You really are the best husband a woman could have. I am so blessed to have you in my life.
