If you were involved in Project Vavia, pat yourself on the back for having an amazing first quarter! This quarter yielded incredible results which we will briefly summarize. To start, input doubled in ounces from 2 to 4 while number of feedings was decreased. Oddly, though number of ounces doubled, output (also known as poopy diapers) decreased dramatically as the chart shows. Project Vavia went from nearly 12 diapers a day to 1 diaper every other day. Recent results show output at about once daily.
We have seen some gains this quarter. At birth, Project Vavia weighed in at a solid 6 pounds and 19.5 inches. By month three she is well over the 12 pound mark. Height has not been measured in time for the first quarterly results. There has also been a welcome increase in productivity. As the Productivity chart shows, number of hours slept at night increased quite a bit. Now that Project Vavia is able to sleep through the night for a whopping 8 hours, productivity during the day has increased and has included exciting yields of smiles, coos and laughs.
A quick forecast of Q2 shows a very high likelihood of solid foods being introduced, high amounts of roll over (or rolling over rather), and loads of fun. We are excited about our first quarter results and looking forward to a great second quarter!
