Always amazing…

Vavia never fails to amaze me. She is growing up so fast, it’s hard to believe she will be three this year!! It’s hard to imagine life without her. Life without her little shrieks of joy, the pitter patter of her footsteps throughout the house, the incessant talking at all times, and just the amazingness of how she learns. She’s such a smart girl and I’m such a proud mama.

Vavia started a new daycare this past Monday. I was concerned because it was a big change for her, but she surprised me by adjusting just fine. There were no tears when Richard dropped her off and she had a great time according to her provider. She played, ate and even napped on her first day. In the words of her provider, “she’s a very easy-going kid”…and well adjusted I would say.

I’m proud that she is so outgoing and adventurous. I know that there are always going to be more amazing days to come so all I can do is cherish what I have. She is amazing.

Here are some photos of her making valentines with me. She loves stickers and they were everywhere by the time we were done.

We’re bad influences…

Vavia & Gracie

Vavia had a playdate with her friend Gracie at their former daycare provider’s house. I think she had a good time, getting her nails painted, watching movies, and creating art.

Family Christmas 2009

We had a great time spending the holidays with both Rich’s family and mine. Vavia had a blast meeting more of her cousins and she misses them so much. She asks for Jennifer and Katee pretty regularly.
